Organized by PhoenixBev, the event celebrated the imminent arrival of Domaine Joël Delaunay’s exquisite wines in Mauritius.

Guided by the expertise of renowned winemaker Thierry Delaunay, guests were immersed in the delicate and complex world of fine wines. Each dish, meticulously crafted, was designed to enhance the unique characteristics of the wines, creating a perfect harmony between haute cuisine and enology.

Domaine Joël Delaunay: A legacy of passion and terroir

Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Cher River, near the iconic Château de Chenonceau, Domaine Joël Delaunay is a testament to five generations of family dedication. Spanning 45 hectares of vineyards primarily planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Pineau d’Aunis, this estate exemplifies the finest expressions of Touraine terroir.

In the 1960s, Joël Delaunay modernized the estate, introducing innovative techniques and paving the way for international exports. In 1998, Thierry Delaunay brought a contemporary vision to the family tradition, crafting wines that stand out for their elegance and character.
