
The 6th edition of the Mauritius Influencers Awards, held on August 30, 2025, once again shone a spotlight on the island’s most creative digital talents. This year marked a major milestone with the event’s expansion to include influencers and content creators from across the region — notably Réunion, Rodrigues, and Seychelles — through the launch of its new regional format: the Influencers Awards Indian Ocean.
Celebrating Regional Talent
Since its inception in 2020, the Mauritius Influencers Awards have aimed to recognize the island’s most innovative and impactful influencers and content creators. After five successful editions, the organizing team decided to take things to the next level — offering a regional platform where digital talents from across the Indian Ocean could connect, share experiences, and celebrate their collective creativity.





This year’s edition spotlighted a vibrant mix of diverse and inspiring talents, each celebrated for their unique contribution to the digital landscape:
- Emily Grondin (@e_m_y_l_y, Réunion) – crowned Best Influencer Indian Ocean, Emily stood out for her ability to create engaging and authentic content that resonates with a wide regional audience.
- Yanesh (@mr_yanesh_) – named Best Influencer Mauritius 2025, he was praised for his authenticity and strong connection with his community, blending humor, creativity, and relatability.
- Anil Seeparson (@anil_seeparson) – winner in the Fitness & Wellness category, Anil impressed with motivational and inspiring content promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
- Leiti_diaries – awarded in the Food category, she captivated audiences with original culinary creations and her vibrant portrayal of the region’s gastronomic richness.
- Jessie.grapher – winner in Travel & Lifestyle, Jessie showcased unique destinations and experiences, inspiring her community to explore the world with curiosity and style.
- Talisha2140 – recognized in Artist & Entertainment, she stood out through her creativity and cultural sensibility, influencing the artistic scene with talent and vision.
- Marion_lareunionnaiz – voted Best Influencer Fashion & Beauty Indian Ocean, Marion charmed followers with her sense of style and innovative approach to fashion and beauty.
- Culture_reunion – named Most Inspiring Influencer, this account was celebrated for its commitment to promoting local culture and its community-driven initiatives.
- Valisoa.regardelemonde – honored with the Special Jury Award – Coup de Cœur, she impressed the panel with her originality and emotionally resonant storytelling.
- Anettekolu – named Most Promising Influencer 2025, she distinguished herself through her fresh, authentic content and innovative voice.
- Grazemauritius – winner of the Special Jury Vote, recognized for her creativity and positive impact, highlighting inspiring local initiatives.
The selection process was overseen by a panel of industry professionals, including Cedric Lanappe, Katia Moochooram, Poonam Manick, Jld.fit, and Yashmini Hazareesing, who evaluated each nomination to identify the most deserving talents.
An International Opportunity
The Best Influencer of the Year Indian Ocean, Emily Grondin, will represent the region at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards 2026 — an extraordinary opportunity to shine on the global stage and a major milestone for regional talent.
The 6th edition of the Mauritius Influencers Awards reaffirms the growing influence of digital creators as key players in both communication and economic development across the Indian Ocean region.
